Upon entering the cottage you step through the screened in front porch. The private porch is the perfect place to drink your morning coffee or an evening cocktail at sunset. Inside is a spacious comfortable living room to kick back and relax after a day on the beach. The open concept layout brings together the living space and kitchen. An updated well-equipped kitchen is stocked with pots/pans/utensils to whip up a local seafood dish during your stay. The dining area comfortably seats six at the table. There is a washer and dryer in the cottage for your convenience. The main bedroom features a king-size bed with flat screen TV. The main bathroom has a dazzling walk-in shower. The second bedroom features a queen-size bed with flat screen TV. The second bathroom features a shower/tub combo. The third bedroom features a queen-size bed. Getting Around: The Rookery is located 14 miles down Fort Morgan Road at mile marker 6, turn right into the Rookery. Go across the wooden bridge, and at the first stop sign take a right. Unit 2202 is a yellow cottage, it is located in between units 2602 and 2601 between a pink and blue house. The lockbox is located on the door handle of the screened door. Public beach access is located half-mile from The Rookery. Take a right on Fort Morgan Road when leaving the Rookery and then take the first left onto Cortez Street. The beach is located ahead of you down the street. Parking notes: There is a limit of two cars. They are $35 each and will be left on the counter the day of arrival. No parking of RV's, trailers or watercraft onsite. There is a pool key/fob is located on the keyring.
