You will love it. Lake is located down the hill a short walk from your cabin. This one bedroom is ideal for a special romantic getaway. The 13 cabins were originally built with hand hewn logs and have withstood the test of time. We have removed the indoor jacuzzi and replaced it with a washer/dryer for your convenience. You still have the hot tub on your deck. Upstairs you'll find the loft bedroom with King size bed. Downstairs is the cozy living room with 55" flat screen tv and gas fireplace (seasonal). Sleeper sofa in case you'd like to bring the kids along. Private hot tub on the deck right outside. Comfortably furnished with brand new furniture just right for a rustic mountain cabin getaway. This unique setting offers you the thrill of being able to walk out the door with hiking boots on, walk right past your car and keep on going for as long as you want to before heading back to relax on your private deck. There are no trails but you are welcome to wander the 135 acres and enjoy the peace and quiet. A rugged hike or a leisurely stroll – your choice. You’re in charge! THE LAKE IS JUST A SHORT WALK DOWN THE COUNTRY LANE - it is not in your backyard but it's very close by. Lakeside firepit area is shared by all the 13 cabins located in the Mountain Lake Resort. March down to the lake and take a stroll around the serene mountain setting watching for the natural wildlife abundant in our area. Just a few yards further and you can enjoy the beautiful, rushing mountain creek. It's lovely. Enjoy a roaring fire in the gas firepit beside the lake. (community location for the resort) And later enjoy a cozy fire in your very own gas fireplace (October - April). Or a soak in your private hot tub on the deck. The fully furnished kitchen will offer the perfect spot for preparing full meals or light snacks to enjoy in your cabin. Whether there are 2 of you or all 4 you will have enough seating at the kitchen table. For those longing for solitude, peace and quiet - this is it! Y
